Our first day of school was yesterday.  So we are trying to get back into the swing of school.
and today I have 5 sick kids!!!!!  what a super great way to start a new school year!!!!  NOT!!!!!  
we started a new curriculum this year and the children seem to like it way better than what we were using.  It is much easier and geared more for homeschoolers. 
 

We got our first REAL snow storm this weekend.  We had gone to TN for the weekend so we were not here when it started but we sure got to drive in it!!  :(  Nasty Roads!!  We were very thankful to make it home with out any trouble!!

The snow is very pretty!!!  It is starting to melt already though!!!  I am ready for Spring though!!!  LOL

some thing new

since this mom is so busy with being a mom wife and school teacher and everything else that goes along with having a family I thought I would take up blogging to Chronicle some of the highlights of our days.
We started out the New year with an extremely busy schedule in the shop.  We had a couple of kitchens to get done. 
I wanted to get some major housecleaning done.  That took a lot longer than I wanted it too.  But I did get the kitchen done and the laundry part way done so far.  We put new linoleum in the kitchen.  That was so much fun!!!
February we started choir again for Carlin and Paul.  They had off over Christmas and New Year.  We drive to Jackson every Friday afternoon, about an hours drive one way.
